Summary
The ImagineArt App Marketplace is where all community-published apps live. Users can discover, search, use, like, and remix apps built by other creators. As an app publisher, you earn credits every time someone uses or clones your app — turning your workflows into a source of ongoing credit income. How the Marketplace Works
When you publish an app with Public visibility, it goes through a moderation review. Once approved, it appears in the Community tab of Imagine Apps - searchable, categorized, and available to all ImagineArt users. What community users can do with your app:- Use it: Enter inputs and generate assets. Credits are deducted from their account.
- Like it: Help surface popular apps in the marketplace.
- Remix it: Clone the app to create their own independent version (if Remix Access is enabled).
How You Earn Credits
You earn credits in two ways when your app is published to the Community:Credits from App Usage
Every time someone uses your app to generate an asset, credits are calculated as: Total cost to user = Base cost + Your earning tier| Component | How It’s Calculated |
|---|---|
| Base cost | The sum of all generation nodes in your workflow. Calculated automatically (e.g., 73.5 Credits). This covers the AI model usage. |
| Your earning tier | The additional amount you set during publishing. Chosen from None (0), Low (10), Medium (20), or High (30) credits. |
Credits from App Cloning
When a user remixes (clones) your app, a fixed credit amount is deducted from them and transferred to your account. This applies every time someone duplicates your app, regardless of the earning tier you set.Tracking Your Earnings
All credit activity is tracked in the My Apps view. Each app card shows:| Metric | What It Tracks |
|---|---|
| Credits Earned | Total credits earned from usage and cloning combined |
| Runs | Number of times the app has been used to generate assets |
| Clones | Number of times the app has been remixed by other users |
| Likes | Total likes received from community users |
Maximizing Your App’s Reach
- Choose a clear name and description: Users search and browse by keywords. Be specific about what your app does.
- Upload a strong thumbnail: The thumbnail is the first thing users see. Use a compelling output image or a custom cover.
- Add presets: Apps with presets are easier to use. New users can generate results immediately without writing a prompt from scratch.
- Set a fair earning tier: Higher tiers earn more per use but increase the cost for users. Start with Low or Medium and adjust based on demand.
- Enable Remix Access: Allowing cloning increases visibility and earns you credits from every clone, while building your reputation as a creator.
